Maribeth Knight is endorsed by the following Montgomery County commissioners: Nathan Burkholder, District 7; Jorge Padro, District 9; David Shelton, District 21; and of course, her husband, Jason Knight, in District 2. She is also endorsed by pediatrician Dr. Gary Griffieth, a subject matter expert in autism and behavioral health matters.
Hundreds of parents and many teachers have come forward to share their stories with her and inspired her candidacy. Maribeth took those words to action and developed a platform. Her movement continues to inspire more parents to become involved in their community. Maribeth is more qualified than any other candidate as she has seven children, six of which are currently in CMCSS, with four of them on IEPs.
Maribeth understands the parents, the teachers and the process, she can be a voice to the community; she is not interested in politics, rather people and policy.
