CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The Regional Planning Commission this week approved site plans for The Villas at Old Mill, an apartment complex set to be placed off Fort Campbell Boulevard in north Clarksville.
Site plans show the apartment complex will have 15 “villas” placed on 25.61 acres, which is estimated to bring around 324 apartment units to Clarksville. In addition, site plans show the development has an emphasis on green space. Developers are set to provide 128 trees for the project, in addition to 262 shrubs.

According to Britt Little, who spoke to the RPC Tuesday on behalf of Grant Construction, the development, located at 261 Old Mill Road, will have three access points: Old Mill Road, Tynewood Drive and by easement. Meanwhile, there’s expected to be 668 standard parking spaces and 45 landscape islands.
Clarksville Now has reached out to the owner of the property, Johnny Piper, for comment.
During the RPC’s public comment portion of their meeting, Rob Durrett asked if there were plans in place to improve intersections in the area of the development.
A spokesperson with the Clarksville Street Department told the RPC and Durrett that after conducting a traffic assessment, they found there is sufficient capacity for the roadway to handle the additional traffic.
