CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Clarksville Police are searching for any information on a shooting that occurred overnight Wednesday. A 23-year-old man was found dead on a basketball court with multiple gunshot wounds.
Officers responded to the shooting off Eighth Street around 11 p.m.
Officers arrived on the scene within minutes to the basketball court on Eighth Street. They found an unidentified 23-year-old man who had been shot multiple times.
He was taken by ground transportation to a Nashville hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police have very little to go on at this point and are looking for anyone with information.
