CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – A man is in custody Friday after a shooting Thursday night in Clarksville. Kendrick Grayer, 23, was found shot to death on a basketball court on Eighth Street.
Police investigation uncovered there was a physical confrontation between Kendrick Grayer and an unarmed male. Then Adriam Hodge, 22, presented a handgun and shot Grayer multiple times.
Clarksville Police Department Special Operations’ agents went to the Ernest Shelton Dr and Lincoln Dr area around 4 p.m. Friday.
There they took homicide suspect Adriam Hodge in custody without incident.
Hodge is being booked into the Montgomery County Jail and charged with Criminal Homicide for the shooting death of Kendrick Grayer.
Adriam Hodge has a lengthy criminal history.
