CLARKSVILLE, TN – A police cruiser crashed with a van Monday afternoon, causing injuries to both drivers.

At about 3:43 p.m., a van going east on Cunningham Lane was turning in to the North Clarksville City Service Center at 111 Cunningham Lane, according to Clarksville Police spokesman Scott Beaubien.

The van crossed in front of a Clarksville Police patrol car that was going west, and the patrol car hit the van. “Preliminary investigation shows that the van failed to yield the right of way,” Beaubien said.

Both drivers were taken to Tennova Healthcare-Clarksville with non-lifethreatening injuries.

Investigator Crosby with the Fatal Accident Crash Team (FACT) is investigating.

No further information was released.
