Update, 2:15 p.m. Monday: Police are calling the Donna Drive and Greenwood Avenue shootings “unrelated incidents.” There is no update on the victim’s condition.

Update, 9:45 p.m.: The victim has been transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville and is not expected to survive, police spokesman Scott Beaubien said.

The victim still has not been identified, he said.

The investigation is still active, and police have not yet determined if it is connected to a shooting on Donna Drive that happened about two hours later.

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – One person was injured in a shooting on Greenwood Avenue Sunday night.

At about 4:43 p.m., Clarksville Police responded to a shots fired call in the 900 block of Greenwood, according to police spokesman Scott Beaubien. Police arrived to find a victim with multiple gunshot wounds.

The victim was transported to Tennova Healthcare, and the victim’s status has not been released.

As of 5:50 p.m., Greenwood was shut down from Kleeman to Lynes Street.

No further information was released.
