In the late hours of Saturday night, the Clarksville Police Department worked a single-vehicle motorcycle crash, which ended with the motorcyclist dying as a result of his injuries.

Suspect vehicle flees traffic stop, crashes into several other vehicles during pursuit | VIDEO

In the late evening of Monday, July 1, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Deputies assisted another law enforcement entity attempting to initiate a traffic stop on a vehicle as part of an ongoing investigation. However, the vehicle ended up fleeing, and striking several other vehicles in the pursuit.

County Commission set to hear proposed 2024-25 budget with property tax rate set at $2.18

The Montgomery County Commission will be presented with the proposed 2024-25 budget on Monday, July 8, which includes a proposal to increase the property tax from the certified rate to $2.18 per $100 of assessed value.
