CLARKSVILLE Tenn. – A Clarksville man previously charged in a boating accident that killed a woman has now been indicted by the Montgomery County Grand Jury for murder.
Douglas Jackson, 25, of Palmyra, TN, was arrested in 2013 after a boating accident that resulted in the death of Stephanie Burns, 21.
Jackson, who was driving the boat at the time, was originally charged with vehicular homicide, tampering with or fabricating evidence, possession/purchase of alcohol for minors, and violation of boating registration.
