Oliver Berry Sugg, age 85 of Erin, TN, passed away on Monday, January 26, 2015 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN.
A celebration of his life will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, January 29, 2015 at the chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Bro. Paul Moody, and Bro. Melvin Brooks officiating. Burial will follow in Lockhart Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 2:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday, and from 8 a.m. until the hour of service Thursday at the funeral home.
Oliver entered this life on July 5, 1929, son of the late Walter and Clara Goodwin Sugg. Oliver proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corp. He and his wife attended Arlington Cumberland Presbyterian Church, and he was a member of the Charity Masonic Lodge #300.
Survivors include his loving wife, Mildred Sugg; son, Barry Sugg (Brenda); daughters, Karen Hill (Jay), Diane Kiser (Brett); five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers will be family and friends.
