The Legend of Sleepy Hollow opens at the Roxy Regional Theatre on October 10.

This production was adapted for the stage by John McDonald and is based on the original story written by Washington Irving.

Described on the Roxy’s website, “Washington Irving’s classic tale recounts the frightening events which took place in Sleepy Hollow during the late eighteenth century. This world premiere adaptation breathes new life into an old story which has entertained readers and influenced writers of horror for almost 200 years and features two of literature’s most iconic characters: Ichabod Crane and the Headless Horseman.”

There are 8 p.m. performances on October 10,11,17, 18, as well as 2 p.m. performances on October 11, 18, 25.

Tickets are $20 for Adults and $15 for children ages 13 and under.
