CLARKSVILLE, TN – Replant Clarksville Chairman Jeff Robinson announced that Replant Clarksville has been awarded a $20,000 matching grant by the Tennessee Department of Agriculture.
“This grant will enable Replant Clarksville to expand our 2026-27 planting plans in the Kirkwood area, and it will allow us to add a whole new combination project at Stokes Park and New Providence Middle School,” Robinson said.
“Our team at Replant Clarksville would like to say thanks to Ashley Kite-Rowland with the Tennessee Department of Agriculture and our volunteer grant writer Karen Reynolds for their efforts in making this happen. We will get to work with our partners at CMCSS and Montgomery County Parks and Recreation as soon as possible to plan for the installation of these trees in early 2027,” Robinson said.
Replant Clarksville is a local not-for-profit working to replace lost tree canopy in the Clarksville-Montgomery County community. More information on Replant Clarksville can be found at www.replantclarksville.org.
