Update, Aug. 21: The pedestrian has died from the injuries. The pedestrian had been walking a bicycle across the westbound lanes of the 101st. The crash is still under investigation.

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A vehicle hit a pedestrian Thursday night on 101st Airborne Division Parkway.
At about 8:30 p.m., Clarksville Police responded to a crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian, who was possibly on a bicycle, on 101st at Whitfield Road. The condition of the pedestrian has not been released. The Fatal Accident Crash Team (FACT) was en route to process and investigate the scene.
All westbound lanes of 101st were shut down and motorists are encouraged to seek alternative routes.
