CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Memorial Day itself is intended as a time to remember those who died in the service of our nation. But Memorial Day weekend has taken on additional duties: the kickoff to summer, a retail sales opportunity, and a day to gather for outdoor grilling (not so much this year with a 70% chance of rain).
