CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Clarksville Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a man accused of taking photos over a restroom stall at a MAPCO on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard.
The incident happened around 9 a.m. on Wednesday at the MAPCO at 2099 Wilma Rudolph Blvd., according to CPD spokesperson Scott Beaubien.
Police said the victim was inside the women’s restroom when an unknown man followed her in. While she was inside, the suspect held a cellphone over the top of the partition and took photos of her while she was exposed.
Surveillance footage shows the suspect as a Black man with black, shoulder-length dreadlocks, wearing a light blue hoodie, light blue jeans and blue shoes. Investigators also noted that he arrived and left in a newer-model Nissan Sentra.
After the incident, the victim confronted the man inside the store and called 911, but he left before officers arrived. The vehicle was last seen traveling south on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard.
