CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A woman was stabbed to death in a home off Trenton Road Sunday night, and a suspect is in police custody.
At approximately 9:25 p.m., Clarksville Police responded to reported stabbing at a home on Stillwood Drive. Officers found a 22-year-old woman with stab wounds. She was transported to Vanderbilt Clarksville, where she was later pronounced dead, according to CPD spokesman Scott Beaubien.
Cam’Ron Walker remained on scene when officers arrived and was taken into custody. He has since been charged with homicide and was booked into the Montgomery County Jail early Monday morning.
“The incident has been determined to be domestic-related,” Beaubien said.
Detectives with the Special Operations Homicide Unit, along with members of the Crime Scene Unit, responded to investigate and process the scene.
