Hughey Minor, 53 of Clarksville, died Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at his residence.
The funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, July 27, 2013 at Foston Memorial Chapel. Burial will be at Westhighland Memorial Garden in Tuscaloosa, AL. Visitation will be Friday, July 26, 2013 from noon until 8:00 p.m. with the family present from 6 p.m. until 8p.m. at Foston Funeral Home.
He was born June 30, 1960 in Tuscaloosa, AL to the late Lucion Minor, Jr. and Lizzie Mae Peoples Minor.
He was employed with Clarksville Tennessee Nursing and Rehab as a foot technician.
He leaves to cherish his memory his children Megan Hicks, Courtney Patton, and Hughey Minor, Jr. all of Tuscaloosa, AL, step children Semone Summers-Grissby, Tina Summers and Phillip Summers all of Cincinnati, OH, James Hutton of Tyler, TX and Duane Hutton of Dallas, TX; sisters Leurethia Minor-Lewis of Tuscaloosa, AL, Janet Ball of Aliceville, AL, Annette Gibson of Virginia; brothers Lucion Minor III, Hubert Minor, James Minor and Willie Minor all of Tuscaloosa, AL, Robert Minor of Clarksville, TN and Clyde L. Minor of Atlanta, GA; 12 step grandchildren,18 step great grandchildren, companion, Loraine Shoffner of Clarksville, and former wife Sindra Mayfield of Tuscaloosa, AL, and a host of family and friends.
