CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – 5 Star Media Group is excited to announce the appointment of Dave Russell as Program Director of Beaver 100.3, a flagship radio station in the Clarksville/Hopkinsville market.
Russell will also be joining Monica Reed on the new Beaver Mornings show on Beaver 100.3, waking up with Clarksville and Hopkinsville listeners for conversation, news and great music.
“You never know where life is going to take you. When the opportunity presented itself to join 5 Star Media and Beaver 100.3, I jumped at the opportunity,” Russell said. “My mission to find the best barbecue in Clarksville has begun.”
Russell started in his new role on March 16, bringing a wealth of experience and a deep passion for the country music format. Russell is a veteran programmer, leading country stations in Pittsburgh and Allentown, Pennsylvania, and hosting morning shows in Pittsburgh and Harrisburg.
“Dave is an incredible programming talent and excellent on-air talent,” said Ryan Ploeckelman, Operations Manager of 5 Star Media Group. “He and Monica are going to have a great show that will have listeners feeling good every weekday morning.”
In addition to his role on Beaver, Russell will be Program Director for The Outlaw 100.7. His first morning on Beaver will be March 23.
