CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Christina Lee Hardesty has announced her candidacy for Montgomery County Commission, District 2.
She said she is running as a financial professional dedicated to bringing integrity and transparency to county government. Hardesty said she is committed to the principled stewardship of public funds and possesses the expertise to identify waste and maximize efficiency, ensuring that every dollar is appropriated with a disciplined, taxpayer-first mindset.
A longtime resident of District 2, she is a military spouse, mother and special needs advocate.
Hardesty said her decision to enter this race was born from a period of prayer and an answer to God’s call to serve her neighbors. She believes that leadership is a stewardship and that a public servant’s primary duty is to act with integrity and honor. She said her mission is to protect the conservative values that make our community great. Hardesty said she is committed to supporting small businesses and ensuring smart infrastructure growth.
Hardesty is hosting a casual Meet the Candidate event at Beck’s Coffee House, located inside Real Life Sango Church, on Feb. 27 from 5:30-7 p.m.
