CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A new home in north Clarksville was heavily damaged in a fire Tuesday morning.
At 7:38 a.m., Clarksville Fire Rescue crews were dispatched to Creekside Drive, off Tobacco Road, for a reported structure fire, according to CFR.


Upon arrival. Ladder 6 confirmed smoke coming from the back of the home and started pulling a line. Primary and secondary searches were completed, and the fire was called under control at 7:53 a.m., CFR reported
“The structure is a newly built home with no one yet living there, and no one was present at the time of the fire,” CFR said. There were no injuries, and the cause is under investigation. “The fire happened at shift change, and crews from two different shifts did a great job working together seamlessly.”
Responding CFR units included Ladder 6, Engine 7, Engine 5, Squad 1, Rescue 6, Ops 2, District 2, Battalion 2.
