CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A man was shot on Greenwood Avenue Monday night.
At about 5:27 p.m., Clarksville Police were called to the shooting in the 900 block of Greenwood Ave., according to a CPD spokesman Scott Beaubien.
They found a man with a gunshot wound and immediately began life-saving measures. The victim has been airlifted by helicopter to a Nashville hospital.
“Preliminary information indicates this does not appear to be a random act of violence,” Beaubien said.
Officers were on the scene at 6:10 p.m. and were actively investigating.
