CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Two families were displaced after a fire in an apartment complex off Needmore Road Sunday night.
At 8:09 p.m., units were dispatched to Greystone Townhomes on Union Hall Road for a reported structure fire, according to Clarksville Fire Rescue.

Upon arrival, Engine 8 confirmed a two-story apartment complex with heavy fire. Crews were able to quickly establish water supply, which included stretching lines across Needmore Road. The fire was under control by 8:28 p.m., CFR reported.
Two families from two units were displaced, and the American Red Cross has been notified. Two cats per family were also rescued. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
