CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The 22-year-old male who was shot on Thanksgiving night in Clarksville has died as a result of his injuries and has been identified as Emmanuel Robinson.

On Thursday night, Clarksville Police responded to a report of a shooting that had already occurred, which led them to finding a 22-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound. Officers responded to the scene and immediately initiated CPR until EMS arrived at the scene of 867 Heritage Pointe Circle.

According to a CPD news release, detectives with the Clarksville Police Department’s Special Operations Homicide Unit, along with members of CPD’s Crime Scene Unit, worked throughout the night on Thursday collecting evidence and investigating this incident.

“This remains an active and ongoing investigation. Due to the complexity of the case and to protect the integrity of the investigative process, no additional information is available for release at this time,” said CPD spokesperson Scott Beaubien. “There is no threat to the public, as this appears to be an isolated incident.” Next of kin have been notified.
