CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Fort Campbell senior running back and linebacker Keshawn Dixon has been named Clarksville Now’s Player of the Week following his performance in the Falcons 55-18 win over Fort Knox in the 49th edition of the Army Bowl this past Friday night.
Dixon dominated throughout the contest on each side of the ball, as he ran for 230 rushing yards with 5 touchdowns, along with 11 tackles and 2 tackles for a loss on defense.
“I am so proud to have had the opportunity to coach Keshawn for 4 years,” said Falcons head coach Henry Mitchell. “His work ethic and passion are not only present on the football field, but also in the classroom. He possesses great character and has a big heart. He is truly deserving of this award.”

‘I’m trying to go out with a bang’
After his impressive all-around performance, Dixon hopes Fort Campbell’s win against Fort Knox is just the beginning for the Falcons program in 2025-26.
“It means a lot to me, especially coming off a loss and having an early breakout season game with it being my last year,” Dixon told Clarksville Now. “I’m trying to go out with a bang, so it felt good to see the team rise up to the occasion and pull out the win. I was just happy to be a part of it, but none of it could have been done without my offensive line and team as a whole.”
