CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Highs of 94 and heat indexes of 106 are expected today and Friday, and a Heat Advisory has been issued.

The highs all weekend will be in the mid-90s with a slight chance of showers and storms each day, according to the National Weather Service.

The NWS advises people limit strenuous activities to early morning or evening to avoid illnesses such as heat exhaustion or heat stroke.
