CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – With a high of 93 and a heat index up to 103 on Thursday, a Heat Advisory has been issued from noon to 7 p.m.

“Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses,” according to the National Weather Service. “Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.”

For the weekend, expect highs in the low 90s and a chance of storms daily, with storms tapering off on Sunday.
