CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – The Tree of Life Center has joined the Clarksville Area Chamber of Commerce and held a ribbon cutting along with their grand opening on Friday, June 27.

The Tree of Life Center, formerly known as the Warioto Plaza, is owned by Yvonne Chamberlain who had the idea to give Montgomery County a local organic produce market so residents wouldn’t have to travel to Nashville.

Director of the Tree of Life Center, Chris Foust, talked about Chamberlain and her support of the community. “She’s a veteran and she had a really strong desire to give back to the Fort Campbell community, said Foust

Foust added that Chamberlain was looking for a place that not only offered good food but a place where you could come and relax and heal your mind, body spirit. Future plans are to open the rest of the center and have yoga and meditation studios.

The center offers cooking classes and from their full kitchen they are working to add more classes with a bigger variety for the community. They also feature a show called Cooking for Life which airs locally on Charter Cable.

The Tree of Life Center is at 30 Crossland Avenue and is open 9:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. Monday-Saturday and Sunday from Noon-6:00 p.m. To find out more about Tree of Life go to www.treeoflifeclarksville.com or call 931-919-2545.
