Clarksville’s Janiya Johnson wins national wrestling title at High School Showcase in Las Vegas

CLARKSVILLE, TN − 15-year-old Janiya Johnson of Clarksville, a student-athlete at Kirkwood High School, has once again proven why she’s one of the top girls wrestlers in the country. Over the weekend, she claimed the 155-pound championship title at the High School Showcase in Las Vegas, defeating top talent from across the nation.

This win adds to Janiya’s growing list of national accolades, including championships at Fargo Nationals, Folkstyle Nationals, and Who’s Number One (WNO).
