CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Rossview High School girls basketball head coach Clayton Head informed Clarksville Now on Wednesday that he will not be returning as coach of the Hawks. He said he informed the team and administration on Monday.

Head took over the head coach position following Justin Woods’ resignation before the 2022-23 season, coming off a state tournament appearance. In his three years at the helm, Head tallied a 64-24 record overall, made two substate appearances, and won two regular-season district titles. The Hawks’ season ended on March 3 with a last-second loss in the regional semifinals against Henry County.

Now, the Hawks will look for their fifth coach in program history for the upcoming year.
