UPDATE: Motorcyclist in stable condition after wreck on Madison Street

Update, 2:30 p.m. Tuesday: The motorcyclist is still in the hospital and is listed in stable condition.

Previously:

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A motorcyclist and vehicle crashed Monday afternoon on Madison Street, with the motorcyclist critically injured.

At about 4 p.m., the vehicles crashed at Madison Street and Porters Bluff Road, according to a news release from Clarksville Police spokesman Officer Scott Beaubien.

Madison Street is shut down between Golf Club Lane and Pageant Lane, and motorists are advised to find an alternate route until the roadway can be opened back up.

FACT Investigators were en route to the scene and the motorcyclist was being flown to Nashville by LifeFlight helicopter.
