CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Rossview High School senior quarterback Reed Bryant has been named Clarksville Now Player of the Week following his performance in the Hawks’ 24-0 win over Kenwood on Friday. Bryant did nothing special in the air, completing nine passes for 51 yards, but he made his money on the ground, with 68 yards on 11 carries and three touchdowns.
The Hawks faced Kenwood High on a Halloween edition of senior night, and a huge matchup for playoff seeding in Region 7-6A. Despite the hype for a great matchup, the Hawks had plans to end their home careers with a win. Rossview led wire to wire, with Bryant scoring all three touchdowns.

“Reed stepped us his game against Kenwood,” said Rossview head coach Todd Hood. “We really thought that his legs would benefit us in the run game, and that proved to be the case. A solid performance.“
While Bryant was thankful for the award, he gave credit to the big boys up front for his success on Friday.
“Senior night brought out the best in our team,” said Bryant. “We had a little extra energy playing and I want to thank my lineman for their blocking. They are the real players of the game.”
