CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – For Clarksvillians eager to help their neighbors in Eastern Tennessee, there are several nonprofits collecting donations and aid.
YAIPak Outreach is collecting supplies at 1255 Paradise Hill to be transported to hurricane victims. They will be making multiple trips throughout the next few months, but the sooner the donations arrive, the better. The facility will be open Wednesday noon-2 p.m. and Thursday 5-8 p.m. for donations.
All donations should be new, not used. During emergencies, volunteers do not have the time or resources to sift through used goods.
The American Legion Post 233 is collecting supplies every day at 14633 Fort Campbell Blvd. Monetary donations can be made at Legion Hall. They’re available from Monday to Saturday 1-8 p.m., and Sunday 11 a.m.-8 p.m.
