CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – With a heat indexes of up to 109 expected in Middle Tennessee, a Heat Advisory has been issued through Tuesday night.
The Advisory from the National Weather Service is in effect through 8 p.m. Tuesday for Montgomery and surrounding counties. Highs of 95 today and 98 on Tuesday are in the forecast, with afternoon heat index values of 105 to 109 degrees.
“Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses,” the NWS said. “Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.”
