Centerstone, the principal provider of behavioral health care in Clarksville, on Thursday broke ground on a new Crisis Stabilization Unit and Crisis Walk-In Center.
CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Centerstone, the principal provider of behavioral health care in Clarksville, on Thursday broke ground on a new Crisis Stabilization Unit and Crisis Walk-In Center.
The new facility, located at 812 Greenwood Ave., will serve as a critical resource for individuals experiencing mental health crises, offering 24/7 access to immediate support and stabilization services, according to a news release.

The Crisis Stabilization Unit and Crisis Walk-In Center are designed to provide timely and compassionate care to those in need, reducing the burden on emergency rooms and enhancing the overall mental health infrastructure in Montgomery County and the surrounding areas.
“We are thrilled to expand our continuum of crisis services with the addition of this Crisis Stabilization Unit and Crisis Walk-In Center in Clarksville,” Becky Stoll, senior vice president of crisis services at Centerstone, said in the release. “This facility will provide a safe and supportive environment for individuals in crisis, offering them the immediate care and stabilization they need. It represents a significant step forward in our mission to deliver life-changing care to the communities we serve.”
The new facility will feature state-of-the-art amenities and will be staffed by a team of experienced mental health professionals. It will offer a range of services including crisis assessment, stabilization, and referral to appropriate follow-up care, ensuring that individuals receive comprehensive support during their time of need.
