Gilbert Dean Wall, 77, of Clarksville, TN, died on Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at Gateway Medical Center.
He was born on January 17, 1936 in Nashville, TN to the late Fred Wall and Fannie Mai Reed Wall.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel with Brother Roy Goodmiller officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 19, 2013 from 5-7 p.m. and Saturday, July 20, 2013 from 1 p.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Gilbert was a lab technologist supervisor for 35 years with Memorial Hospital. He was an Air National Guard Veteran. He was a member of Hilldale Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Jayne Stone Wall of Clarksville, TN; daughter, Marianne Brantly (David) of Clarksville, TN; brother, Dr. Carlton Wall of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; two sisters, Willie King (George) of Clarksville, TN and Betty Empson (Dr. Billy) of Nashville, TN; and two grandchildren, Sam Brantly (11) and Max Brantly (3).
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society or Hilldale Christian School, 501 Highway 76, Clarksville, TN 37043.
