CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – One person is dead and another is in being held for arrest at a hospital after a four-vehicle crash on Interstate 24 early Thursday morning.
On June 13 at around 1:15 a.m., a four-car crash occurred in the westbound lanes near mile marker 18. Traffic was shut down for most of the day between Exits 19 and 11 as Tennessee Highway Patrol investigated the scene.
THP referred questions from Clarksville Now to the District Attorney’s Office. Robert Nash, district attorney general for the 19th Judicial District, said criminal charges are pending.
He told Clarksville Now that one person died in the crash and another person was still in the hospital receiving treatment Friday afternoon, on hold for arrest.
