Donald Ray Smith, of Erin, TN, passed away Sunday, June 9, 2024, at his residence at the age of 70.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at the Chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Bro. Stephen Cathey officiating. Burial will follow at Stewart County Memorial Gardens.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and again from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service Wednesday morning.
Donald entered this life on November 16, 1953, son to the late James Smith and Mary Francis Unger Smith. Donald served his community for many years as the owner operator of Smith Roofing Company. He had a passion for classic cars; but his true love was his friends and family; he will be greatly missed.
In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by his son, Donnie Smith.
Survivors include his long wife, Carla Lynn Smith; children, Mandy (Cory) Warwick, Ramey (Steve) James; siblings, Jimmy Smith, Ricky Smith, Jeff Smith, Tracy Smith, Anita Paxton; and four grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers will be Ron Smith, Lynn Smith, Josh Olivo, Dexter Yates, Randy Lewis, and David Booth.
