Mildred L. DeKnoblough, age 78, passed away on Monday, May 27, 2024.
Celebration of Life will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, May 30, 2024, at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Bro. Matt Brown officiating.
Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, from 4 to 7 p.m. and again on Thursday from 10 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Mildred entered this life on November 24, 1945, in Alan County, KY to the late Earl C. Mathews and Annie Lucille Powell Mathews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, John M. DeKnoblough; brother, William Brown; nephew, Jeffrey Brown, and brothers-in-law, David w. Brown, and Michael Graf.
Survivors include her children, Jackie (Penny) Gunter, and Sherry Gunter Plunkett; grandchildren, Matt (Angela) Gunter, Brendon (Auna) Gunter, and Kendall (Quinton) Plunkett Knight; great-grandchild; Natalia Gunter, and great-grandchildren by marriage, Katie Gray, Reagan Mullinax, and Tyler Smith.
Pallbearers will be Ricky Dinkins, Gary Barnes, Kelly Plunkett, Christopher Brown, Matthew Brown, Quinton Knight, Jackie Gunter, and Brendon Gunter.
