A Celebration of Life service for Patsy Marie Wood, age 81, of Clarksville, TN, will be Thursday, May 30, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Sango Cemetery. Bro. Ted Denny will officiate. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until the time of service.
Patsy was born on July 26, 1942, in Clarksville to Ray and Margaret Holt. She passed away on May 25, 2024. Patsy could do anything from mechanics to decorating. She enjoyed spending time with her family, sports, sewing, and was a great cook. Patsy was also a member of the Canine Search and Rescue Team for Montgomery County.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Gill B. Wood and brothers, Jerry Holt and Donnie Dale Holt. Patsy is survived by her children: Sherry Dowlen, Greg Gregory, Teresa Cross, and Tammy Gregory; grandchildren: Kristen Folsom, James “Bubba” (Jada) Dowlen, Amber (Jack) Dowlen, Lynsie (Justin) Strohman, Daniel (Stephanie) Cross, Dylan (Kaitlin) Cross, Chelsey Gregory, and Michael Gregory; and great-grandchildren: Tristin and Lacey Strohman, Kaycee Dowlen, Blake Folsom, Noah Styles, Aryanna Dowlen, Sadie Dowlen, Caiden Dixon, and Harper Cross. Pallbearers will be Patsy’s grandsons, David Folsom, and Russell Dowlen.
