CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – A group of local food truck operators have formed an association to work together to promote the growing trend of food on the go.
The Clarksville Food Truck Association will hold its first coordinated event, called The Food Truck Invasion, Sunday, June 1 at Rotary Park from 12 to 4 p.m.
“In larger cities, food trucks ‘pod’ up to put on events which attract people to all the different types of food the trucks offer,” said Beth Tejada of La Casa Mexican Taquería.
The inaugural event will include La Casa, Lunch Rush, Good Eats, Steve’s Barb-B-Q and Regenerate Juice Bar.
In addition to food, there will be bounce houses, water tag, laser tag, and mobile gaming by Gamez On Wheelz.
