CLARKSVILLE, TN – The West Creek JROTC Drill team recently returned from Denver, Colorado, where they competed in the Rocky Mountain Nationals against 27 other schools and military academies. They brought home seven trophies, including five first place and two second place.

Though the West Creek Drill team competes regionally and nationally, they’ve never been west of the Mississippi. As a result of their 2022 second place finish at the Drill team nationals in Daytona, Florida, the US Army offered to fly the team to Denver to see how they stack up against the teams out west.

Team success is not something new for the Coyote Drill team. They have dominated competitions near and far since West Creek opened, winning several regional and brigade championships and a national championship in 2013.

The West Creek JROTC Drill team returns to Daytona in early May, with high expectations of securing a second national championship.
