CLARKSVILLE, TN – For a dozen years now, the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System and the CMC Education Foundation have partnered to sponsor the City Saver Education Funding Campaign that will run from Jan. 14-Feb. 18. Last year’s campaign raised over $150,000 for local schools with a total of $1.9 million raised since the campaign began 12 years ago.
During this year’s campaign, all CMCSS elementary and middle school students will sell the new 2022 Clarksville City Saver coupon book, which contains thousands of dollars in savings at over 150 local favorite restaurants, attractions, and retail stores. The 280-page book sells for $25 and includes dozens of buy one, get one free, and 50% off discounts that do not expire until Feb. 1, 2023. This book is different than any other fundraiser because of the return on investment for all who purchase and use the City Saver coupons.
The purchase of a book also includes the popular City Saver mobile app, which doubles the savings in Clarksville and gives the customer additional discounts in Nashville, Memphis and Cincinnati. For every book sold, 50% will go directly to the individual school.
The 2022 book includes local restaurants like Liberty Park Grill, Edward’s Steakhouse, Harbor Café, Mickey’s Downtown, Penn Station Subs & Waffle House; local attractions like City Forum, DEFY Trampoline Park, Roxy Regional Theatre & Magic Wheels Fun Center; and additional popular Nashville attractions like the Nashville Zoo, Nashville Predators, Beech Bend Amusement Park, Frist Art Museum and the Adventure Science Center.
