Bobby Joe Smith, age 76 of Clarksville, passed away Tuesday, May 25, 2021.
He entered into this life on March 28, 1945, in Montgomery County, Tenn. to the late John and Margaret Grant Smith. Bobby was retired from both Trane and Fleetline Products but grew up working in the tobacco fields. He enjoyed bird hunting, deer hunting, gardening and grilling.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Michael Joe Smith; brother, Terry Smith; sister-in-law, Alice Kay Smith and the mother of his children, Betty Smith. Survivors include his daughter, Patricia (Robert) Lee; brother, Douglas Smith; grandsons, Brandon Smith, Michael (Taryn) Suiter, Justin Lee and great-granddaughter, Sayler Lee Suiter.
A memorial service will be held at 12 p.m., Friday, June 4, 2021, at Gum Springs Baptist Church with Rev. David Mackens officiating. Interment will follow in Gum Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
