Mrs. Dollie Parker, age 98 of Dover, TN passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2021, at Tennova Healthcare of Clarksville after a long and happy life. She was born July 13, 1922, to the late Cleveland Earl Myers and Ethel Reynolds Myers.
Mrs. Parker was united in holy matrimony to Mr. Jessie (Buck) Parker on December 22, 1939. Dollie was preceded in death by her beloved husband. Her family finds peace in knowing that they are reunited in heaven.
Mrs. Parker was the eldest sibling but was preceded in death by her 6 brothers and sisters.
Mrs. Parker was known by all who knew and loved her as a strong woman of faith who loved God and her family. She attended the First Church of God. Her happiest moments were surrounded by her family. She was a wonderful cook who loved to cook for her family and friends. Those who knew her best, picture her in the kitchen cooking and singing gospel songs. She loved to make people laugh. Her grandchildren can share many stories of her pulling pranks and laugh endlessly.
She is survived by her children, Donnie Parker, Sr. (Nelda), Ophelia Mathis, Barbara Horton (Robert), and LaJuana Fieder, 11 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, January 9, 2021, at Taylor’s Cemetery, Big Rock, with Rev. Del Morgan officiating.
