Marilyn Louise Lyle, age 90 of Erin, TN, passed away Tuesday, November 3, 2020, at her residence.
A celebration of her life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 6, 2020, at Springhill Church with Rev. Jacqueline Pitt Martin and Rev. Richard Neal officiating. Burial will follow in Lewis Cemetery.
The Lyle family will receive friends at the chapel of Nave Funeral Home on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and again from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of service Friday afternoon at Springhill Church.
Marilyn entered this life on November 14, 1929, in Houston County, TN, daughter to the late Arthur and Betty Rye. Marilyn was a lifelong resident of Houston County and since 1945, was a faithful member of Springhill Church. Marilyn had a passion for gardening and cooking, but more importantly, she loved her family. She will greatly be missed.
In addition to her parents, Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband Carrol Lyle; sisters, Erma Alsobrooks, Katherine Rye; grandson, Tyler Lyle and great-granddaughter, Morgan Rose Lyle.
Survivors include her loving sons, Fred (Terri) Lyle, Scott Lyle; grandchildren, Bronson Lyle, Jarrod (Ginger) Lyle, Cameron (Lesley) Lyle; great-grandchildren, Savannah (Justin) Cathey, Alex Lyle, Caeley Lyle, Colin Lyle, Camdyn Lyle, Carter Lyle, Grady Lyle, Charley Lyle, and great-great-granddaughter, Madelyn Cathey.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jarrod Lyle, Cameron Lyle, Bronson Lyle, Grant Gillespie, Jason Gillespie, and Gerald Rye. Honorary pallbearers will be Colin Lyle, Carter Lyle, and Grady Lyle.
The service will be held at Springhill Church, 3332 Hwy 46 North, Erin, TN, 37061.
