Update, Aug. 19, 12:29 p.m.: Franklin Luppe has been located, according an update from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office. Luppe’s family expressed their thanks to all who assisted in his safe return home.

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Farmers and land owners in eastern Montgomery County are being asked to check their trail cameras, as the search for an 83-year-old Adams man enters its second day.
Franklin Luppe was last seen Tuesday morning at his home, 1000 N. Stroudsville Road, according to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.
He is believed to be on foot, as all family vehicles have been accounted for, MCSO spokeswoman Sandra Brandon told Clarksville Now.
Any farmers or landowners who live within a 10-mile radius of 1000 Stroudsville Road are asked to check their trail cameras for any sign of Luppe. Or, Brandon said, cameras can be dropped off at 1000 N. Stroudsville, where MCSO can check the footage.

Luppe was wearing blue jeans and a brown Polo shirt. He is 5 feet, 10 inches tall, weighs 150 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes. According to his family, Luppe has health issues and did not take his medication Tuesday morning.
Anyone who has seen him is asked to call 911 immediately.
