CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Several members of Kriegisch Martial Arts were recognized for their hard work and dedication to the martial arts at the KMA Annual Awards Day, which was held last month.
These students, who range in age from 4 years old through adult, showed outstanding improvement in their martial arts classes throughout the year as well as perfect attendance and good leadership.
This year’s recipients include: Diana Gautam, Darci Gautam, Jarrod Walker, Kevin Carrigan, John Goad, Liam Messenger and McGregor Goad for perfect attendance. Most improved students of the year by age group were: Tiger Cats (3 to 5 year olds) Gavin Lyle and Emma Bogue, Advanced Tiger Cats (5 and 6 year olds) Laney Sawyer and Ben Dyke, Prep Kids (6 to 8 year olds) John Goad, Karate Kids (9 to 12 year olds) Samantha McIntyre, and in the Teenager/ Adult Class Jarrod Walker.
The runners up were Kayla Wiley, Gus Wright, Ke’Sean Brown, Heather Walker and Keegen Turner.
Diana Gautam received the Gold Club Award for number of classes attended during the year and Samantha McIntyre received the Leadership Award for her service in assisting with classes during the year.
In addition to the students who received these awards, the Shawn Fowler family, the John Goad family and the Carole Mercer family received special plaques in recognition for their service to the school in a variety of ways.
