CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Hilldale Baptist Church in Clarksville Tennessee will host an informational luncheon about Alzheimer’s Disease and its effects on all ages and family members Thursday February 13th at 11:30am at Hilldale Baptist Church Family Life Center at 250 Old Farmers Road in Clarksville.
This free meeting will be led by Tiffany Cloud-Mann, Vice President of Programs & Outreach, at the Nashville Office of the Alzheimer’s Association.
The purpose of this lunch and learn is to discuss important information about Alzheimer’s, its early detection, living with Alzheimer’s, and how family members can help and support. Those in attendance will be able to ask questions regarding the disease.
According to the Alzheimer’s Association’s website, Alzheimer’s disease is the sixth leading cause of death in the United States and more than 5 million Americans are living with the disease.
“Most of know first-hand the effects Alzheimer’s has on a loved one and their family members,” said Dr. Larry Robertson, Senior Pastor at Hilldale Baptist. “We are honored to be able to host this valuable meeting and we hope that those in the community can come and learn more about this disease.”
