CLARKSVILLE, Tenn (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Officers were called to a hotel at 130 Westfield Court on Wednesday, February 26, at approximately 9:30 a.m. after a man allegedly vandalized a room and management wanted him removed. The hotel has opted not to press charges.
An investigation by Officer Joffer suggests that Henry Roberts, 49, had stolen one of Walmart’s electric carts from its Wilma Rudolph location and drove it 1/4 mile to the hotel. The cart was found in a parking spot outside of Robert’s room.
Henry Roberts was taken into custody and charged with theft of motor vehicle. His bond is set at $5000. Roberts was also criminally trespassed from the property.
