CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW)- The Clarksville Police Department was able to identify and arrest a woman in conjunction with a vehicle burglary and the fraudulent use of a credit card stolen from the car

The woman was identified as  Ashley Brashears also known as Brooke Marino.  She was located by patrol officers and booked into the Montgomery County Jail on Tuesday, Dec. 3.

Brashears was charged with theft from a motor vehicle, three counts of identity theft and three counts of fraudulent use of a credit card. Her bond was set at $40,000.

Thanks to the assistance from the public and media outlets, Detective Kilby received numerous tips and was able to identify and charge a suspect in conjunction with the theft from a motor vehicle and the fraudulent use of the credit card, according to a news release from Jim Knoll, spokesman for CPD.
