CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) The Clarksville Police Department recently partnered with Planet 3 Extreme Air Park for a community outreach as well as a fundraiser for the Citizens Police Academy Alumni. Officers had a great time interacting with the folks that came to the event.

Planet 3 had something for everybody and all ages. There was pugilistic jousting, opportunities to bounce, flip or jump on trampolines, dodgeball, flying through the air on a trapeze, walking across a balance beam and so much more in a safety first environment. The officers hung in there with the best of them, but were worn out by the end of the event.

The business generously donated 20 percent of each admission ticket sold to the Citizens Police Academy Alumni, a non-profit organization supporting local law enforcement events and activities.

Clarksville Police Department spokesman, Jim Knoll said, “We always appreciate and are thankful for the support we receive from the Clarksville businesses, members of the community, and media outlets.” Knoll added, keep an eye on the Clarksville Police Department Facebook page for future community outreach events.
